It’s time to pray for Delhi Daredevils

“We have done our job. We had to win this match and we did that. The rest is not in our hands. We can only pray that other results go our way and we reach the last four” – Virender Sehwag

Not the greatest position to be in for the Delhi Daredevils. But atleast they have given themselves a chance to qualify. Dinesh Karthik came good at the right time for them. If not for this knock, his paycheck in the next edition of IPL would have been a lot slimmer than this time around.

So is it going to be Chennai or Mumbai who choke and let Delhi in to the semifinals. Or are we gonna loose the best bowler and the best batman of the league – Mcgrath and Gambhir – even before the semifinals which would be a shame really.

Chanders, Take a bow!

He is not a Brian Lara. He never pretends like one. And we know he would fail if he attempts that. For he does not has Lara’s flair, flamboyance, charm or style. But boy is he effective!  After the ‘wam-bam-than-you-mam’ version of cricket – the Indian Premier League – his brave innings against the team everyones loves to hate has reminded us of the thrills of Test mactch cricket.

Chanders, take a bow!
